A Bit About Me

Hello all !

Here you will find a little bit about me, so I will start off by introducing myself and follow up with some information for you to read through.

My name is Jonathan Williams, and like most, I wear many hats. I am a Christian man, husband of one and a father of three blessings, in that order. I appreciate humor and like to interject it, love to laugh and joke, and my joy rests in the promises found in the inerrant immutable word of God given to us in scripture. I am a genuine person who has a passion for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and I live each day to the best of a sinner's ability in the sight of God.

I believe in honesty and honor, and for me, that means doing what is right even when done wrong. I also believe in wealth, but for me, that is building relationships first before bank accounts; and I try to build them with each person I do business with, as well as in my personal life. I believe in treating people fairly and respectfully, and I hope for the same in return. I like humor, but appreciate good conversation with logical ideas of substance, theology, artistic expression and education. I enjoy learning and reading, and math is a personal favorite. Mostly, I view things in concrete form, but I am able to venture into the abstract space while remaining tethered to reality. I have a big heart, I think a lot, I care genuinely and I feel deeply, which can be a tightrope to walk in business at times.

I have met many types of people that have taught me, through experiences and interactions, that we all have a perspective, and will not always reason the same; so I try to bridge gaps from the consumer side to the professional's side, and more times than not middle ground can be found where selfishness does not abound. I pair well with open minded people that step outside the box with me and approach things objectively and rationally to find a solution by using discussions. I firmly believe that most situations can be worked through with civilized conversation; and when it does not, I also believe in apologizing and forgiving if we are to mend any brokenness. I accept that not all relationships can be reconciled once damaged, but I believe all can still be forgiven. I have boundaries like everyone else, but for the most part I am open and transparent with all I encounter. I believe in being diligent and giving my best in performance. I take my work to heart and serve my clients and friends with that mentality.

I have a love for creating and building things, and my history in construction goes back to my early years. I worked summers with my grandfather in his glass business beginning at age 11, and later joined the residential construction trade at age 15, where at age 17, I began working full time. As of 2025, I now have 30 full-time years in the construction business, with 26 of them spent self-employed. I am licensed in MS with a Residential Builders License that allows construction, remodeling, and repair of residential buildings, including single-family and two-family units, homes up to 3 stories, as well as commercial structures up to 7500 square feet. I use my drafting and design education side by side with my construction experience, and pair both with my God given talents to create solutions for all budgets and projects, from unique building plans to custom projects of various sizes. I have a passion for this industry because it gave me a purpose as a young man and to this day, it still does; so I serve in it with all honor and praise given to God, first and foremost, and I am beyond thankful that I can use my gifts to earn an income while helping others. When I take on a project, it is my concern and it matters to me not just in the beginning, but during and after, because I aim for quality over quantity, and I want each project I help with to fulfill its purpose for years to come in function and in its aesthetics. I wholeheartedly believe not every opportunity is an opportunity to profit, but that every opportunity is an opportunity to help someone, so with that, I look forward to meeting you someday, and if God willing, the opportunity to work together on a project, too.

Thank you for the time you spent here with me today,
